General Conditions The Library is open to and free of charge for both children and adults domiciled in Denmark. Books, audio books, newspapers, magazines, music, videos and computer games are lended to any registered borrower. To register please bring ID. The library use Danish health insurance card (Sygesikringsbevis)
The internet may be used free of charge to search for information and to send/receive e-mails. Photocopies and fax machines may be disposed of at fixed charges.
Solrødbasen From this website you can visit our local database Solrødbasen, which is the database of all our books, magazines, CD's, DVD's and other items. From here you can search for all the materials in the public library in Solrød, and see if the material is available right now. You will also be able to make reservations and renewals of your loans. You can choose english as a search language and guide texts in our database.
Books The libraries have collections of literature and information for foreign-language users - children as well as adults - in the other Scandinavian languages and in the main European languages: English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. They also contain literature and information for children and adults in the languages spoken by the largest groups of immigrants and refugees living in Solrød : Turkish, Hindi, Arabic and Urdu
